Book of James Part IV Foolishness
There are many Scholars, theologians, who disagree, with the authorship of James. In my research and studies, I conclude and agree with many that the author was James. The half-brother of Jesus was the Author.
In his letter, he didn't address the church world as a whole, but he addressed the Twelve Tribes which are scattered abroad. Primarily speaking directly to the Jewish readership.
In the same manner of today Pastors, and Called Leaders, must address those of the Faith, and the Blood bought Believers of our time, and bring to light The Foolishness that has drifted into our Faith. James wrote to the Jewish Believers, nailing them on how their Faithfulness to the Lord, had gotten lost in Political affiliation, and the church drifted into Foolishness, and was not Living the Word, but had become hears only. James cautioned them about 5 damaging factors to their Faith, and their failure to understand, temptation, and Godly suffering. James 1, 1,2, consider it Joy (when you fall). God takes no pleasure in you failing or your demise. This rejoicing is about making you better. This is the build-up of your resistance for a greater and better future against Temptation, trials, and testing. (When) denotes time in Scripture. (When) means we're going to be tested, and tried in life, but it's not to kill us, it's to make us better, for what God has for us.
One of the things the devil always wants to attack, and Rob you of, is your Joy in Christ. Because when joy is gone the next thing set in is Blame.
Paul lays out a vivid reminder to us why the Church and the preaching of the gospel of Jesus is so important to the believers, and those of the Faith in Jesus. The message makes sense to us because it gives us power against Satan. But he blinds the unbelievable to challenge us with Foolishness that doesn't make sense and causes us to become weak, and doubters.
Peter tells us as Believers, for this is the will of God that by doing good you may put to silence it ignorance of foolish men as free yet not using Liberty as a quote for vice but as Bond Servants of God on all people love the Brotherhood fear God, honor those in authority. So you have to be the one willing to step up and do the right thing and respect those people that are in authority, and the leaders that God has placed in our church, and on the world stage, with Prayer, and not Foolish and Idle speech. (Proverbs 24, 9 )teaches us that "the very thought of foolishness is sin"so that's why it's so important that we do what (Ephesians 4, 23) we must keep our minds renewed on a daily basis because the enemy is always attacking us with foolish thoughts, foolish Behavior, foolish action, foolish words coming out of our mouths.
The theme of the Whole book is beset with James bring to light the five areas of problems that were testing their Faith.
James 1,1-18 The test of Patience, The Believers, and the Leaders had become impatient with each other's, and start giving up in going into what we would call into days time as Worldllynes. Where you can't tell the church from the world.
The Test of Bitterness
How we treat one another, and those without, who are indifferent, those who don't have what we have.
James 5 The test of Materialism
God blesses us with things to enjoy, not to hoard it over brothers and sisters, head as if this by means of faith I have, and you don't. So you exchange your Faith for things to be seen, or heard, this is known in the world as blind faith.
James Test of Disunity 4, 1-17 Fighting among one another.
Test of Spiritual Apathy
Lack of feelings, or emotions, a lack of interest, or concern, indifferent about everything.
No passion about Jesus, no passion about the church, no passion about worship, or helping some more. No feelings of expressing love towards anyone, walking around aimlessly slumbering in spirit, with a fake look just to be by. Trapped in a web of Satan Foolishness of This World.
Jesus loves you! and he wants YOU to know he loves you and desires fellowship with you. This is going to be the best years of your life because Jesus lives big in you.
There was a time in Jesus’ ministry where when he would travel people would follow him around everywhere, everyone wanted to know who he is.
